CrystalGuard™ is a revolutionary new product designed to replace AdBlue® while delivering superior performance. Its advanced formula prevents harmful crystal deposits in Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems, making it ideal for vehicles and machinery with stop/start systems or low-idling operation.

Unlike standard solutions, CrystalGuardâ„¢ includes a surfactant additive that enhances exhaust system efficiency, even at low temperatures, helping drivers avoid costly maintenance and downtime.

How does it work?

The Problem:

For effective burning of AdBlue®, the temperature in the SCR should be 300°C or higher. For stop/start engines this temperature is hard to reach, meaning AdBlue® does not effectively burn, leaving crystal deposits.

The Solution:

CrystalGuard™ burns at 220°C, meaning that even with lower temperatures in the SCR that can occur with stop/start engines, it burns off leaving no crystals. No crystals means better system longevity and performance.

What is CrystalGuardâ„¢?

CrystalGuard™ is a next-generation replacement for AdBlue®, featuring a unique surfactant that prevents crystal deposits in SCR systems.

How does it work?

When AdBlue® does not effectively burn off at the point of injection within the SCR system, it can leave crystal deposits which can lead to costly system repairs and replacements. The temperature for AdBlue® to effectively burn off in the SCR Systsm is 300°C or higher, which often is not reached with stop/start engine vehicles.

To counteract this issue, CrystalGuard™ is poured into the AdBlue® system on applicable diesel vehicles as a replacement for AdBlue®. CrystalGuard™ effectively burns off at the lower temperature of  220°C (approximately). This means that even when the ideal AdBlue® burn off temperature is not reached, CrystalGuard™ will still burn off, leaving no crystals. This can save drivers from the costly repairs that crystal build up can lead to. 

Can I use it instead of AdBlue®?

Yes, CrystalGuardâ„¢ is fully compatible with AdBlue® and can be mixed directly in your vehicle’s storage tank.
